General Return and Refund Policy
Customers have up to 30 days following receipt of goods to return or exchange a consumable or hardware product for any reason following prior approval of the seller, provided it is unused, free of damages inflicted by the customer, and in its original packaging. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs for returns that are not due to quality-related issues. Gelomics will provide a full refund of the costs of goods returned if the prior conditions are met.
Gelomics will exchange sterile consumable products cost-free if quality-related issues arise within 30 days of purchase.
Gelomics Pty Ltd warrants its hardware products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months after delivery of the product. The foregoing warranty shall be of no force and effect if the buyer has modified or damaged the product.
If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period or, if applicable, the Extended Warranty Period, Gelomics will either:
1) Repair the defective hardware at no charge, within reasonable time using new or refurbished replacement parts, and cover the shipment cost from and to the customer.
2) Exchange the defective hardware product with new or refurbished hardware that is functionally equivalent to the original hardware product, and/or the same make and model.
If a hardware or component is replaced by Gelomics, Gelomics will assume warranty for 90 days from the date of replacement for the part or component only. This does not extend the warranty for the complete hardware.
If a hardware or component is replaced, then the replaced part is either E-cycled or kept for evaluation.
