Gelomics is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from exceptional Early and Mid-Career Postdoctoral Researchers who are interested in applying for the Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowship.
This is an opportunity to significantly contribute to the research and development efforts at Gelomics. Selected candidates will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to revolutionize drug development through innovative tissue culture technologies. Opportunity Highlights:
Project Title: Automation of 3D cell and organoid cultures for drug discovery
Project Length: 2 years (at 50 - 100% FTE)
Early-Career Fellowships: Up to $160,000 over two years
Mid-Career Fellowships: Up to $240,000 over two years
Eligibility:
Australian citizens or residents, residing and working in Queensland for the fellowship duration.
Up to 5 years (early-career) or 5 -10 years (mid-career) post-PhD research experience.
Commitment to spend a minimum of 50% FTE on the fellowship project.
We Seek Candidates Who:
Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, and are currently employed by a university or research organisation
Have a strong demonstrated background in iPSC-derived organoid cultures
Preferentially have existing experience in hydrogel biomaterials for 3D cell and organoid culture
Are enthusiastic about advancing drug discovery and development through automation
Are ready to contribute to impactful research benefiting Queensland's innovation ecosystem
